Thanksgiving 2013

We were really blessed that we got to go back to South Dakota to visit grandparents over Thanksgiving.  The boys had a blast exploring new territory and, of course, eating lots of food and spending time with grandmas/grandpas.  Here are just a few pictures from the weekend…

Andrew was all about the meat:

And Eli was all about the pie:

Getting some cuddle time with Grandpa:

We got a lot of outside time too:

We even got some cousin time in:

Once we got back home, we felt the Christmas spirit coming on, so we went out and picked out a tree.  Eli was sick by then (hey, we made it a whole trip over a holiday without any sickness, so the day after we get home we considered a blessing!) so we just went one block to our beloved Lowe’s store and grabbed one.  Someday when the boys are older and can aim with (or even lift for that matter) an axe we might actually go out and cut down our own.

Then the busy week started, and our tree sits in our living room, untouched.  We plan to decorate for Christmas soon, so hopefully more pictures to come!
